Back in 2011, Samir Sadikhov entered the FerrariWorld Design Contest and came in second place with his “Xezri” design concept. Now the designer is back with a race-ready Competizione Edition that is simply one of the best Ferraris that will tragically never become reality.
We don’t often post up artists rendering of concept cars that will never be built, but this design is just too stunning to ignore.
To follow up on his conceptual, mid-engined super car, Sadikhov designed a track-only Competizione Edition Xezri that adds plenty of aerodynamic components to his original concept car. Hopefully the Italian automaker is taking notes, because this is one Ferrari the world probably wishes would be produced.
To give it a more race-ready appearance, Sadikhov gave the Xezri a larger front splitter, fender vents, a roof scoop, larger side skirts, a new rear spoiler, larger rear diffuser, and different wheels. If anything, we’d find it hard to believe that this concept would ever take second place in any competition.
